ARTICLING PROGRAM

Lindsay LLP’s articling program offers a unique education experience for students wishing to undertake their articles in civil litigation.  Articled students have the opportunity to practice in various subject areas including personal injury, occupiers’ liability, product liability, construction, professional liability and subrogation.  They will also be exposed to alternative dispute resolution.  Students will participate in our comprehensive professional development program, which offers both in-house and external educational opportunities.

Our students are encouraged to approach our lawyers about becoming involved in their areas of interest. Additionally, we encourage our students to get involved in pro bono works and volunteer work in the legal community at large.  We also offer opportunities for those interested in writing and having their work published.

Lindsay LLP looks for candidates who are highly motivated, self-directed and organized and who work well in teams. Successful candidates will be assigned both a principal for the purpose of the Law Society requirements as well as a mentor.

Lindsay LLP hires one articled student with the intention of mentoring our student for a career at our firm. We offer our articled student a unique experience to gain valuable litigation experience and our student should expect to attend Chambers, examinations for discovery and mediations.  Our intention is to train our student to have the skills necessary to manage his or her own file load in a busy litigation practice upon the completion of his or her articles.
