Natalie Parsonage is a civil litigator who defends the interests of insurers and their insureds in claims arising out of motor vehicle, personal injury, property damage, and other accidents.

Natalie’s legal education started in the UK where she was the president of the student law society, semi-finalist in her university debate society, and winner of the Allen & Ovary Presidents’ Negotiation competition. During her tenure, she facilitated an international moots competition and UK-wide debate competition. Following graduation, Natalie obtained a Masters of Common-Law at UBC and articled with a large downtown litigation firm.

Prior to joining Lindsay LLP, Natalie often appeared as co-counsel in complex BC Supreme Court trials involving motor vehicle related personal injury claims, along with a lengthy medical malpractice trial.  She has experience in matters of judicial reviews, commercial litigation, employment, and environmental law.

Natalie has spent four years serving as a member-at-large on the Risk Management Counsel, an educational organization connecting insurance lawyers across Canada. She was a three-time participant in the RMC Young Lawyer workshop, presenting on topics of insurance defence, best methods of practice, and recent case law analysis. In 2023 she was Master of Ceremonies of a large cross-Canada defence workshop presenting on limitations, damages, host liability, and updated litigation strategies.

Natalie was on the executive board of the Law Courts Inn Society for three years, creating and supporting countless educational opportunities for practicing lawyers. She was also a member-at-large of the Vancouver Bar Association, facilitating educational and networking events throughout the city.

Natalie was born and raised in Vancouver, and lives locally with her husband and children. She values the ongoing opportunity to contribute to the legal landscape, and to provide functional and reasonable solutions to those who rely on her.
