David Giroday is a litigator practicing in the area of insurance defence litigation. David completed his articles with Lindsay LLP and gained hands-on experience in a variety of insurance litigation matters including bodily injury claims, property damage claims, motor vehicle accident claims, construction law, product liability and subrogation.
David is a graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in Windsor, Ontario. During his studies David was a caseworker at Legal Assistance of Windsor, a community legal aid clinic, where he worked with low income individuals in the Windsor-Essex region and appeared on behalf of his clients before the Social Benefits Tribunal and Landlord-Tenant Board. David was further involved in a number of advocacy competitions during his studies including, the Hicks Morley Labour Law Moot, the Zuber Moot and the Windsor Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition.
Outside of the office David is an avid traveler and recently walked 320 kilometers of the El Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain. He also maintains a keen interest in a variety of athletic pursuits including soccer, hockey, golf, skiing and running.
