Callan W. MacKinlay practices primarily in the areas of insurance defence, with a focus on personal injury and property damage. He articled with Lindsay LLP after completing his law degree at Thompson Rivers University. He was called to the bar in May of 2018 and he stayed on with Lindsay LLP after completing his articles. He has appeared in front of the Supreme Court of BC and the Provincial Court of BC.
During Callan’s law school career, he assisted three professors in the drafting of The Annotated Guide to the British Columbia Interpretation Act, where he researched the jurisprudence on the sections of the BC Interpretation Act. He served as an editor on the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. He also competed in the BC Law Schools Moot in 2017 on the Thompson Rivers University team.
When he is not representing his clients, Callan enjoys traveling and hiking in the mountains around Vancouver.
